 | Award Winning Pizza Time And Again
It's a neighborhood bar. It's a neighborhood family pizza joint. It's a special place to escape to. It's an award winning combination, since the late 50's. "Tavernality - At its best!" say owners Jon McClelland and John Mellen.
That's the beauty of having a small-town tavern and further, born is the the local neighborhood pizza spot.
Smith's Tavern has many specialty pizza combinations. Amongst these are their "Pies of Distinction" which includes "The Villager" - in honor of TV-10 award winner Capitaland's favorite pizza 1996, "The John Gray's Gourmet", in honor of TV-13's "On the Job" segment 1997, and also the "The Metrolander" in honor of Metroland Magazine's BEST PIZZA Awards.

What they're saying ...
"A clean, well-run establishment with a family room in the back. I have returned here several times over the years, making the trip specifically for the pizza, which I find quite good. Order it as you wish, or choose from their special combos listed on the menu. It's a fun place where you can bring the wife & kids without concern for the bar crowd, and would make a nice stop on a tour of the Thacher Park area." Phil G
